Why The Braai Show with Cass Now Belongs to Rapper – AKA
South African mainstream rapper, AKA also known as the Supa Mega, has announced his #victorylap at the court of arbitration over the issue of copyright and ownership of one of South Africa’s hit TV Show, known as The Braai Show.
The show was first hosted by Supa Mega at its maiden editions. Then later, his rival rapper, Casper Nyonvest with whom AKA has had several runnings in the past to date, became the last host of the show.
In the light of AKA being dropped from the show as host and replaced with rival rapper, Casper Nyonvest, the Super Mega one has been locked in a legal battle of ownership and copyright infringement.
In his #VictoryLap tweet, AKA stated below:
Special thanks to Molai Attorneys & my counsel, Adv. Tshidiso Ramogale … & thank you to the Megacy as always. Let this serve as a warning to ANYBODY in the entertainment industry, individual, production company or broadcaster, who seeks to steal our ideas. Get those coins ready.@AKAWORLDWIDE
The rapper also attached an official announcement sheet in what seems like an official press release as per below:
