Jennifer Hudson Pulls The Plug – Accuses Ex David Otunga of Reaping her off

0 240

Jennifer Hudson who has being in several legal battles with her ex husband, WWE superstar David Otunga, says her baby daddy has always being trying to reap her off because she is a celebrity. The Dream Girls and Superstar Singer claims her ex is demanding undue benefits of free money just because she is a celebrity and she wants a judge not to order her to cover his housing costs.

The singer trashes her ex’s claim he was the primary caregiver the whole time, claiming Otunga was often on the road with the WWE

Hudson even accuses him of trying to pursue “a career path identical to Jennifer’s evidenced by his promoting himself for his role in ‘Madea’s Family Funeral,’” which she says debunks his claim her career made her less of a parent.

She denies that the best decision is to give Otunga primary custody and “denies that her working and David either not working or professing not to work makes him more fit to personally care for the child in the City where the child attends school.”

Hudson adds, “To accept David’s proposition that because he is present, he is a better parent would be to do a disservice to working parents in general and to Jennifer in particular.”

She also calls into question his ability to raise their son in a safe, consistent and loving environment.

Hudson takes particular issue with the idea of her paying for Otunga’s housing costs. She says Otunga is perfectly able to pay for a home, if he actually tried to get a job, saying, “Nothing entitles David to live in a home identical to Jennifer’s.”

The “Dreamgirls” star says she has no duty to support Otunga and “denies that the child support should extend to housing subsidies for David when the parties were never married.”

She goes on to say, “Having a child with a celebrity should not be the basis to treat David like someone who has given birth to a child and who has no means of supporting the child. Jennifer is the one who gave birth to the minor child, who had the minor child with her as she traveled prior to the difficulties the parties experienced in their relationship.”

They were set to go to trial later this month but agreed to postpone to try and reach a settlement. A hearing has been set for next month.
