0 352

The winner, of the Morgeez Rap Battle Royale Competition, has cast doubt on the reality of him becoming a superstar as his work ethic has been called to question. Since winning the maiden edition of the competition, the rapper, Stuart De Kork aka, Trip has not turned up to fulfill any part of the deal as it relates to his responsibility as an artist.

What’s Trip’s Primary Responsibility After his Victory at the Rap Battle?

Primary responsibility is to furnish the company with his originally penned songs. The Rapper was scheduled to start work immediately on his music production project that will see him checked into the Morgeez Studios for recording works on his album. As this is the standard policy of the competition outcomes.

According to reports, the artist has not even pitched at the studios since signing his record contract with Morgeez Records. casting a shadow of doubt on his basic understanding of the signed record deals and perhaps bringing into question his work ethic.

Is Trip on the Verge of Abandoning his Contract?

Earlier reports indicated that the Morgeez Rap Battle winner had crossed path with the label over his demands to acquire beats from unverified sources. Meanwhile, company policy clearly earmarked a thorough process whereby artists checked into the studio and work on creating original tracks from scratch for their album.

This is merely the reason why the artist has be reported to have vanished from the studio for months now, thereby abandoning his work schedule from day 1.

Is Trip’s Contract still valid?

As part of the process for completing the validation of his contract, the artist is expected to sign off on hIs production schedule, deliver the songs that he is suppose to be working on, and get on board the company processes and procedures for an artist.

But There are all indications that Morgeez is still expecting the artist to fulfill his obligations as soonest as possible. This might mean that all hopes are not lost and seemingly the company hasn’t given up totally on the artist.

“The artist needs to come clean and deliver on his side of the contract.”

Finally, as at the time of press, Trip cannot be reached nor had he reached out. However, Morgeez Management expect him to return to fully implement his side of the deal. After all, that’s what the Morgeez Rap Battle Royale is all about. Only time will tell, as we keep our fingers crossed!
